Great routine front and center at Basketball home games last Friday night. But for a cluster of reasons we didn’t know she had been dropped while “flying” in a stunt during warm up before the game and hadn’t been caught by her bases or spotter and landed on her back, neck and head. By the time we found out it was much later - she never should have kept cheering in the first place but we didn’t know, she was in shock, and sadly the coach underestimated the situation as well. Thanks to their sports trainer, Casey and her beloved doctor. Thankfully the latter is on speed dial and we were able to get her on a good protocol right away. But her symptoms kept progressing through the weekend. And today a diagnosis. Concussion and whiplash - no school, homework, studying, tests, screens, reading, or much of anything for a week. Things will get reevaluated Friday unless the language / cognitive pieces continue past Wednesday in which case scans are in order. But let’s imagine things are resolved by then. She’s got the benefit of a ton of body recovery expertise under her own belt, in her family and on her holistic team. Her protocol includes a ton of anti inflammatory supplements, laser, heat / cool, no sugar, biofeedback, IRS and more. But fuuuuuuuukkkkk man. Another thing. Another blow. Grateful for her strength and resilience. If anyone can heal through this and come out stronger the other side it will be her. #gratefulanyway 💗🙏💫 365 days of gratitude...day 138 (138/365/y13) #365DaysofGratitude #GratitudeGirl #DailyGratitude #EverydayMagic #gratefulone #hawksperch #p6 #cricketini
